About Us:
Prairie Therapeutic Touch Network Society(PTTNS) is a not-for-profit organization, established in 1994 and operated by volunteers, who are Therapeutic Touch practitioners.
The Network was created to promote the ethical practice of Therapeutic Touch and in response to client requests for Therapeutic Touch practitioners.
PTTNS also serves as a resource and communications network for Therapeutic Touch practitioners, teachers and the general public.
TTNA is a member of the Therapeutic Touch Network of Canada (TTNC), which is the national Therapeutic Touch organization.
Mission Statement:
PTTNS promotes the ethical practice and acceptance of Therapeutic Touch, as developed by Dolores Krieger, PhD Nursing and researcher Dora Kunz, intuitive healer.
Prairie Therapeutic Touch Network Society Goals:
- provide support for members through educational opportunities and practice groups
- connect clients with Recognized Practitioners
- develop and maintain guidelines for ethical practice and conduct when using Therapeutic Touch
- promote the value and effectiveness of Therapeutic Touch to the general public.
